​The carbon brake course can be included in the EU‐OPS requirement of Ground Refresher Training and describes the use and costs involved when using the aircraft brakes.

When looking to save costs in today’s tough economic environment. Learning about the equipment that brings your aircraft to a standstill is quite important.

This courses will assist you in understanding the optimum use of Carbon brakes, and the costs that are involved.

This course in Carbon Brakes is intended for pilots and give the candidate a good understanding of the use of Carbon brakes installed on your aircraft. Furthermore, example calculations of cost per landing on the Saab 340 and Saab 2000 are included.

The intention is not to tell pilots when to use the brakes, but to inform and provide pilots with the latest news on how to use the brakes, in order to reduce unnecessary brake wear, which in turn might reduce maintenance costs.
